Don't Think I Could Forgive YouYou’re probably wondering where you know the name Robin Schulz from. He’s the guy that remixed Mr. Probz‘s “Waves”, turning it into a global hit. Well, lightning has indeed struck twice for the German DJ. His remake of Lilly Wood And The Prick‘s (they wisely revised their name!) “Prayer In C” has already topped the charts in over 20 countries.

The appeal of the worldwide smash is easy to understand. Robin breathes just enough life into the French duo’s sad and depressing folk song to make it palatable. The end result is a curiously catchy but still defiantly gloomy earworm. Interestingly, the collab almost didn’t happen due to the DJ remixing the track without permission. They sorting things out and now everyone is rolling in cash. And they say there’s no such thing as a fairytale ending! Watch the very German video up top.

Is this going to conquer the Billboard Hot 100? Have your say in the comments below.
