Hilary Duff Is Flawless in Camel Coat and Christian Louboutin Pumps

On Sunday, Hilary Duff stepped out for the Broadway opening night of The Elephant Man in one of her most stylish looks yet.

The 26-year-old mom is usually spotted in casual outfits while out with her son, but for her night on the town, she opted for sophistication, wearing a Proenza Schouler top tucked into a Moschino leather skirt. She finished the look with a beautiful camel coat, a Marni clutch, and black suede Christian Louboutin "So Kate" pumps.

Hilary joins a long list of celebrities who have worn So Kate for an event. Do you think her outfit did them justice?

Although Hilary's suede pair is no longer available online, you can still grab So Kate in black patent leather.

Kim Kardashian Flaunts Her Famous Curves in Two-Piece Outfit and Tom Ford Heels

Kim Kardashian-West does not settle for anything less, style-wise. She's never boring, although at times she dresses over the top. For the past days, she's been displaying her curves in fitted long-sleeved dresses while out and about in the Big Apple. Her recent red carpet appearances also include cleavage- and midriff-baring outfits.

On Wednesday, the 34-year-old reality TV star attended the 2014 ACRIA Holiday Dinner held at Skylight Modern in New York City in true Kardashian style. She paired a green embroidered bralet with a pencil-cut midi skirt in rose satin, both by Ulyana Sergeenko. She definitely turned heads in this ensemble, but for all the wrong reasons.

Kim's outfit was a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen. Her famous assets seem tightly squeezed in this getup. She displayed a hefty amount of cleavage as well as a shameful amount of bulges from the waist down. Her midsection, as usual, was also put on display.

We actually love Kim's makeup and also her voluminous raven locks that fell beautifully over her shoulders. This outfit, though, is just a no-no! We're wondering how she was able to eat dinner in this two-piece ensemble.

If Kim's not wearing her lace-up Hermes heels, she's wearing her gold Tom Ford chain sandals. For the ACRIA Holiday Dinner, she chose the latter. She just never gets tired of these sandals, which sold out a few years ago. Check out some alternatives here or find the latest from Tom Ford at Neiman Marcus.

Same hill, different day

For two years, Chicago photographer Paul Octavious visited the same hill and took photos. "Each time, a new story is told, as if the hill is my stage and the locals are the actors in this daily play," he says. Awesome. (I'd want to go on the kite-flying day.)

Embroidered wedding invitation

Crikey! When Kate and Avi got married in Brooklyn last fall, Anna Bond created embroidered invitations. She sewed the design onto the paper, hand-painted the lettering, and finally scanned the art for printing. How beautiful is that? xo (Look at the teeny Brooklyn Bridge and the cute green parks!)

Sea salt brownie

Mmm, I'd love a caramel sea salt brownie right about now. Sea salt makes every dessert mouthwateringly delicious, don't you agree? (This recipe looks great, too.)

Just a pretty photo for you today. xo

Spring wish list

When we were little, my mom used to wear beautiful, baggy shirts like this one. (See exhibits A and B:) She would roll up the sleeves, wear her hair down, and look so relaxed and chic. When I saw this striped shirt, it reminded me of her, and I'd love to have it as a new mom.

And this elephant pillow is so cute, for kids or grown-ups, don't you think? The print is by the fabulous Elisabeth Dunker, from Sweden. xoxo

Vermont wedding: The ceremony

Yesterday, I shared Gemma and Andy's rehearsal dinner, and now here's their beautiful wedding! They got married in Gemma's parents' backyard, under a giant pine tree with one trunk that splits into two as it reaches towards the sky. Isn't that romantic?

Yellow school buses brought guests to Gemma's childhood home in Marlboro, Vermont.

Gemma and her bridal party walked down the aisle, as their friend played "Harvest Moon" by Neil Young on his guitar. (Gemma's dress was by Zac Posen; Sara Glick did her makeup and Ramie Roth did her hair. Starr McCaleb designed the bridesmaid dresses.)

"I was so nervous walking down the aisle," Gemma remembers. "We came down a dark path in the woods, both parents by my side to give me away. All our friends and family were smiling in the bright sunlight, and Andy was standing under the huge pine tree, waiting for me. He thought something was wrong because I looked so serious, but really I was just concentrating, trying not to burst into tears!"

Their good friend got ordained and married them, and other friends did readings and sang songs.

Tomorrow I'll post the final part -- the reception! xo

9 By Design

Have you guys been watching the new Bravo show 9 By Design? It's all about Cortney and Robert Novogratz, who buy, renovate and decorate fabulously artsy houses (and then sell them for top dollar). The twist? They have seven kids. The family is funny, boisterous and totally charming, and the show is really addictive. (It's on tonight at 10pm if you want to watch.)

P.S. Their baby's name is Major. Adorable.
P.P.S. An interesting NYTimes article about the family.

Countdown

Our little dude is due on June 2nd -- three weeks from today! I'm so excited to meet him. Alex and I have been reading tons of books on newborn baby care and came across the cutest line last night: Apparently, very young babies can get easily overstimulated because they can't look away. They literally don't know how! How sweet is that?

This movie looks great (as does Mark Ruffalo). It comes out July 9th.

Guest Post: Picnic Ideas

picnic

I love Joanna's idea of having a picnic club. What a blast that would be throughout the warming spring and summer months! I envision delicious food picked up a a local deli or nearby farmer's market and lots of outdoor games like bocce ball and croquet and just having fun hanging out with a group of friends. Here are a few things to bring outside. Happy picnicking, everyone!

Best friends

Before he was born, our good friends Hollister and Porter gave us this rad pig stuffed animal for Toby. Needless to say, he loves it. The other morning, he spent a full ten minutes gazing into its eyes. It was so, so cute to watch. :)
