After turning 25 on January 9, Nina Dobrev went to the set of Extra the next day in fine spirits. The star of The Vampire Diaries couldn't hide her bright smile as she chatted with the show's host, Mario Lopez.

Although not high on our list of tastemakers and celebrity fashion gurus, Nina scored well in the fashion department that day. The Bulgarian-Canadian actress wore a suit from The Kooples, a popular French brand that just recently started expanding overseas.
Nina's outfit features a cropped blazer, a white button-down shirt, and a cute flared skirt. Despite the formal intention, this suit actually exuded a fun vibe. Teaming up a flared skirt with a blazer is one of the infallible ways of making suit outfits look fun and youthful.
The Kooples actually specializes in garments that look androgynous - clothes that you can coordinate with your boyfriend's wardrobe. How cute is their concept? Now, all Nina needs to do is get back together with Ian Somerhalder, and they can model for the brand. Are you with us?
Her choice of footwear is also worth mentioning. The People's Choice Awards winner got her hands on this pair of orange Sophia Webster butterfly pumps - a clever way to make a black-and-white outfit more interesting!
