Clearly we take a whole lot of photos around this place and we often test looks out by shooting them on an iPhone, just to see how they look before we go pro. Our next TBD “Gift of the Week” is this amazing cover! It’s both cute AND functional, which we love. I got one last week while we were in Toronto and I couldn’t wait to share it! Some of you may or may not realize that the “volume up” button on an iPhone can be used to snap a photo when you’re using the camera app. The the shutter button on this camera cover sits right on top of the “volume up” button and that’s how it works. There’s also a button over the “volume down” button, so you can do business as usual while sporting this cover. If you drop your gadget a lot, worry not– it comes with a place for a camera strap. Let’s be real– it’s not like this phone cover actually makes the photo better, it just makes you feel a little more chic while shooting!

:: Gotye‘s smash hit “Somebody That I Used To Know” was the most-streamed song of 2012 based on Spotify’s global numbers. He beat out Carly Rae Jepsen‘s “Call Me Maybe,” with fun.‘s “We Are Young” in third. As for album streams, David Guetta‘s Nothing But The Beat came out on top, followed by Gotye’s Making Mirrors and Drake‘s Take Care. [Rolling Stone]

:: A Pussy Riot documentary is headlining the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. Pussy Riot - A Punk Prayer will depict the arrest of three of the Russian punk group’s members and their trial. [HitFix]

:: Kanye West‘s “Clique,” featuring Jay-Z and Big Sean, has gone Platinum. This is the second single from G.O.O.D. Music Cruel Summer to hit that landmark, with lead single “Mercy” having gone double Platinum. [HypeTrak]

:: Snoop Dogg and Rita Ora star in an animated re-telling of “A Christmas Carol” for Adidas, because, the holidays? Check it out, if only to hear Ebenezer Snoop say “Bah humbizzle.” [NME]

PSY’s “Gangnam Style” Eludes, Enrages Bill O’Reilly: Morning Mix

:: Noted music critic Bill O’Reilly continued his war on rappers, this time taking on PSY, the “little fat guy from Pyongyang or some place.” On The O’Reilly Factor, the talking head expressed utter befuddlement at the popularity of “Gangnam Style,” which has PSY “just doing the pony.” Naturally, to shed light on the phenomenon, Bill interviewed a psychiatrist for five minutes. :: Britney Spears and Keven Federline reportedly owe over $37,000 in unpaid taxes. The two apparently failed to pay their California income tax in 2004, the year they married. Gee, we wonder which one of the two will step up and foot the bill. [AOL Music]

:: Rick Ross is GQ‘s Bawse Of The Year (though we doubt anyone else was in the running. When asked about also finishing as The Source‘s 10th most powerful man in hip-hop, Rozay hilariously said he’s gunning not for number one, but the runner-up spot in 2013. [GQ]

:: Most of us were consumed by Lana Del Rey‘s so-so performance of “Ride” on Later… with Jools Holland, so you’ll be forgiven if you didn’t realize that in the very same episode on Tuesday (November 27), The Weeknd made his television debut. Will.i.am & Britney Spears’ “Scream and Shout” Video: Watch The Futuristic Clip

Let It All Out, Y'all!

Here are some things that are great about Britney Spears and Will.i.am‘s video for their new single “Scream and Shout”: It’s new Britney, and she looks hot, y’all! That’s kind of it, though - although we’re stoked to get new Spears, it’s a bummer that it has to come in such a (relatively) lackluster package. Courtesy of Will, the song - aside from the serviceably meme-able “When you hear this in the club, you’re gonna turn this shit up” lyric - is a predictable piece of dreary roboto-pop.

The video features clones of both Brit and Will dancing in synchronicity (like the best back-up dancers ever), and while visually, the clip is more boundary-testing than the audio, it’s all the things you’d expect: Futuristic, with some unsubtle product placement and a lot of ostensibly cool effects. Cool cars! Speakers! Will.i.am wearing a hat that says “KING”! We’d hoped for more. Watch it up top.
