HHGS Artist Spotlight: M.C. El Bee - Straight Outta Hip Hop

The legendary M.C. El Bee is one of the "Invisible Legends of Hip Hop", a true Hip Hop demigod from the GrandMaster Flash and Kool Herk era (Bronx 1974). Before there was such a thing called a Hip Hop record deal, there were street MC's and B-Boys that rocked the crowds, drove the people crazy with tight moves and slick rhymes

These were the live performances within the clubs and park jams back then, before the world knew rappers like Kool Moe D, Sugar Hill Gang and Kurtis Blow. Street MC's were the voice of Hip Hop!!!

The legendary M.C. El Bee is back to bring old school stories over new school beats. His style of MC'n is both competitive as well as historical. He comes across as a triple threat with his ability to rap, sing and write his own material. To fully comprehend his style you must see his new video which is a remake of N.W.A.'s 1988 "Straight Outta Compton" which was produced by Dr. Dre.

M.C. El Bee's version is titled "Straight Outta Hip Hop" which features John Body Bagz from Albany N.Y. (who reps his upstate hood while M.C. El Bee reps the Bronx N.Y.) So get ready to check out the video for yourselves when you click on that "Read More" button below:
