Those Summer Nights – Aviator Nation

Evoking the carefree lifestyle of Californians circa the 1970s, Aviator Nation’s vintage inspired line epitomizes comfortable-chic lounge wear. Few pleasures in life elicit immediate gratification like slipping on a perfectly worn vintage sweatshirt and feeling the rare luxury of unyieldingly soft cotton.

A lifetime spent collecting authentic vintage tee’s combined with an increasing contempt for low quality reproductions inspired designer Paige Mycoskie to create her own line of authentically replicated vintage wear.

Mycoskie's Los Angeles manufacturing plant pays homage to the forgotten techniques that birthed the vintage tee revolution by employing antique sewing machines actually used in the 60s and 70s to produce her line. To achieve the soft and authentic feel of pure vintage, Mycoskie studied the production of the vintage shirts she emulates - uncovering the machines and fabrics used to manufacture the astonishingly cushy apparel. Ensuring no two items are exactly the same, hand stitched appliqu s complement the line’s designs giving each item its own slightly distinguishable unique attributes.

Years spent surfing the west coast equipped Mycoskie with a definitive California style and her quintessential accessory: aviators, from which her line derives its name. Catering to both men and women, Aviator Nation parlays California-beach chic to the masses and with summer fast approaching no brand is better suited to alleviate your sun-soaked skin on those crisp summer nights.
