Top 10 Jacket Looks of Fashion Bloggers for December 2013 Part 1/2

This month, we seek the refuge of thick outerwear, oversized coats and cozy jackets to keep the chill at bay. More often than not, we see people who do it in style. It's definitely the season to take advantage of the wealth of striking jackets, coats and capes to amplify one's ensemble.

We've been spying on the blogosphere and here are the outfits that won our hearts over:

1. Megan from California

We've always recommended a dose of color to cure a serious monochrome malaise. Something like a neon coat would do well in giving a look that extra ounce of cuteness. Megan did just that with her Forever 21 swing coat. Her cheery yellow coat provided a sharp but eye-catching contrast to her two-tone shirtdress.

2. Martyna from Poland

There's something about basic pieces that draw us. Simple looks like the knitted sweater and pinstripe pants outfit Martyna wore looks very chic, especially when worn with a grey coat just like what she had here. Such a look can never get old.

3. Kathleen from San Franciso

Treasure a good leather jacket for it will serve you well in the fashion department. It's a quick add-on to ensembles you need not think through. It just blends in well no matter what your style is. Take a cue from San Francisco-based blogger, Kathleen, who rocked her sleek brown leather jacket to perfection.

4. Aneta from Warsaw

Every month, we find ourselves including printed coats, especially those with big houndstooth prints. They are great to wear when you are looking for just a touch of quirkiness to an outfit. We are particularly smitten with Anetka's coat, which she wore with a pink cable-knitted sweater, a pair of pants and a pair of booties.

5. Pierluigi from Italy

Bundled up in one of the most interesting coats we have seen in a while is Pierluigi. Need we say more about his zipped up coat and its interesting lapel detail? His photo speaks for itself.

Is Nicole Scherzinger Getting Engaged Soon?

Nicole Scherzinger should be expecting some very good news soon from her beau of 5 years, Lewis Hamilton. In a recent interview with The Sun, the Formula One racer has announced his desire to ask for Nicole's hand in marriage after being together for 5 years. In the light of Hollywood's lightning-fast relationships, 5 years is quite a "milestone," as Lewis put it.

However, there have been reports of a breakup circulating, and we sure hope they're not true! Nicole certainly didn't look the part of a distraught ex-girlfriend when she showed up in a red pantsuit by Hugo Boss at The X Factor auditions at Mercure Holland House Hotel in Wales.

The X Factor judges were out to see the best of what Cardiff, Wales, has to offer on July 3. Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow, and Nicole Scherzinger enjoyed a rare sunny day in Cardiff. Nicole even tweeted, "The sun is shining down on us in Cardiff today, getting ready for @TheXFactor."

With her tanned skin and fit figure, Nicole is definitely one of the sexiest women out there today, especially when she is wearing red.

No Breakdown Here: Khloé Kardashian Looks Anything but Heartbroken

Despite all the buzz surrounding Khlo Kardashian's reportedly rocky marriage with NBA star Lamar Odom, the reality television star is keeping mum about her domestic situation and is, instead, doing what any woman in the same situation would do - staying strong and looking fabulous. The 29-year-old was spotted on Melrose Avenue with her head held high, filming an episode for their reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians with sister Kourtney. No moping around for this woman. Take that, paparazzi.

Khlo looked better than ever, showing off her hard-earned slimmer physique in a plaid jumpsuit by Theory, which she paired with an Herm s bag and black peeptoe suede booties by Giuseppe Zanotti. She kept her beautiful ombr hair pin straight and cascading below her shoulders, and hid her eyes from the afternoon sun in a pair of gold-rimmed sunnies.
