Did Lil Wayne Cut Off His Dreads?

Lil Wayne is most known for having his long dreadlocks flowing down his back these days and he's been growing his dreads since the early 2000's. Wayne's hair has basically become a staple of who he is and who we know him to be. So it was a bit of a surprise when photos popped up of Lil Wayne hanging out with former Outkast member, Big Boi, without his signature locks (as shown above).

 Folks went into a frenzy when they saw the pictures of Lil Wayne without his signature locks, but GlobalGrind.com reports that although the photos look like Lil Wayne might have cut off all of his hair, he didn't. In fact, GlobalGrind.com says Wayne is just growing out his dreads even more while they are pulled back.

I wonder if Weezy was working on a collabo with Big Boi? I guess time will only tell.
