Barely in their teens, To Be One is shaping up as one of pop’s hottest new boy bands under the guidance of Lady Gaga‘s ex-manager Troy Carter and MTV host/tv personality Layla Kayleigh. The trio first came to national attention on season six of America’s Best Dance Crew (they were runners-up) before deciding they wanted to up the ante by creating their own music - instead of busting a move to other artists’ tunes.
The boys, who recently moved from New Jersey to Los Angeles to pursue their dream, dropped by the Idolator studio to talk about their debut single “Wherever You Wanna Go” (the choreography in the video is crazy!), their idols and thoughts on a possible high-profile female collaboration.
