Ellie Goulding has effortlessly made the transition from selfie-obsessed tom boy to glamorous pop star. In the May issue of Cosmopolitan, the 27-year-old’s worlds collide as she poses in everything from sneakers to a sheer evening gown covered in crystals. To her credit, she looks equally comfortable in all of her ensembles.

The Brit talks about matters of the heart in the accompanying interview and has some handy advice for anyone going through a break-up. “A lot of the despair in breaking up with someone is thinking about how you’re going to cope in the future,” she muses. “But not being completely present prevents you from being happy and alive.” So there you have it. Lady Gaga Goes Nude In The Name Of ‘ARTPOP’: See The NSFW Jeff Koons Photo Shoot

A nude sculpture of Lady Gaga by celebrated artist Jeff Koons graces the cover of ARTPOP. For those of you wondering how realistic the artwork is, we can now confirm the answer is VERY. Pics of Mother Monster posing for Koons have surfaced online and they are even more explicit than the pose she eventually settled on.

The “Applause”-loving diva is pictured holding a blue ball (no dirty jokes, please!) with only a long blond wig covering her breasts. That’s great for the front-on shots but it left her pert backside fully exposed when she turned around. Happily, the moment was captured for posterity. Peruse the NSFW pics up top.

Halloween 2012: Which Pop Star Had The Best Halloween Costume? Vote!

If you’re a pop star, the motto when it comes to Halloween is always “Go big or go home.” (Unless you’re Drake, in which case the motto is always #YOLO.) Halloween 2012 was no exception. The highlights this year included: Chris Brown dressed as a member of the Taliban (classy), Rihanna was in her dream wedding gown (complete with a bouquet of marijuana leaves), Katy Perry as Jane Lane (the best Daria cosplay we have ever seen), Jessica Simpson as a Look-At-All-The-Baby-Weight-I’ve-Lost Medieval Wench, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon and Dem Babies as a Teddybear Family, Miley Cyrus as a Barbz-approved Nicki Minaj and Adam Lambert as a handsome vampire.

Then, of course, there was Glee‘s Darren Criss as a boy scout and Matthew Morrison as *NSYNC-era Justin Timberlake. Jennifer Lopez and boyfriend Casper Smart went as hippies (we assume because it reminds J.Lo of her ’70s childhood and Casper loved learning about that decade in history class). Fergie went as a sexy cat and as model Angelyne. Then last, but not least, we had Christina Aguilera as a Camelot queen (we think). But who deserves to be crowned the Ruler Of Halloween 2012?
